Phyllis, is there any way to add the ability to mark a batch of New threads 'read' when they come up after clicking on 'new posts'?

Jeanne, that works if I read all the posts, but some I don't. I don't need to read all the posts in the upper forms, but I'd like to mark them read to know that I scanned the thread titles.

I was thinking the same thing Naomi. I would love it if there could be a check box in front of the post and if you wanted you could mark it and then click mark as read. Kinda like gmail.

You can mark a whole forum read. Will that help? On the main forum page, where there are the arrows in the circles showing that you have new posts, click on an arrow, and it will go away. Or, on the thread listing in each forum, up near the top there's "Mark this forum read."
