Tuesday morning, May 30th, 9:30

The mornings of the Conference were given up to demonstration lessons by the students to the children from the Practising School, for in the course of their training at Scale How, the students give lessons under supervision from the staff so that at the end of the time they are not only proficient in the theory of education, but have had practical experience both in giving criticism lessons and in teaching in the school.

As many subjects were shown as possible in all the Forms, so as to give some idea of the children's powers of narration.

These lessons were limited to 15 minutes each in order that twelve might be given in the time allowed.
