MELBOURNE, VICTORIA.--On the 11th August a meeting was held in the Schoolroom of Christ Church, South Yarra, to inaugurate a branch of the P.N.E.U. in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne. Mr. J. T. Collins, M.A., L.L.B., delivered an address on the aims and objects of the Union, and an audience of between fifty and sixty were present. The Rev. -- Kirkland took the chair, and at the close a committee was formed and thirty ladies and gentlemen enrolled as members.
