This Club is open to any readers of the Review, either lady or gentleman. The terms are 6s. for six months. All work marked for exhibition is criticised by Mr. David Murray, A.R.A., on the yearly "Pupils' Show Day," in Miss Stewart Wood's studio, Vine Court Studio, Holland Street, Kensington. Subjects for September.

I.--Twilight. Very beautiful effects are to be seen in the half lights just after sundown. The broad harmonious effects must not be meant to hide bad drawing. The drawing must be done quite severely first, and then lost when finding the exact values of the objects seen in the deepening gloom. Note that immediately after sundown the ground often appears strangely light.
II.--The Stubble Field. The quaint little stiff rows of stubble make a charming study against the brown earth.
