Tech Support (Parent and Student Access)/RE: word doc year 1 term chart won't open

Hi again Kathy,
I think I have solved the problem for myself now so that I can use the file, but for your reference, here are the circumstances and what I did: The ODT file doesn't open either. I tried changing settings in the Trust Center like the website said, and that didn't help. Disc space is not an issue. My husband is a professional computer tech guy, and he says it is probably just the file format (the way LibreOffice encodes it) combined with Word 2016 causing the issue. Perhaps a fourth link could be added with the .docx option for those of us who are having this issue, while keeping the .doc file available. I have just installed LibreOffice and confirmed that opening the .doc and saving it as .docx from LibreOffice makes it open normally in Word 2016 (with a slight modification needed on page 1 to make the table fit).
I appreciate your prompt attention to my problem here! Thanks again for all the work you put into AO and provide for free. I hope if anyone else experiences this issue, this thread will help them solve it. Blessings to you!
